CLOSING NIGHT RAID!

This Saturday night June 9, 2012 at Known Gallery in Los Angeles the collective/brand LA-Go will close the doors on it’s Compassionate Care Clinic and Fine Art Dispensary. In the project room of Known Gallery, an interactive storefront / grow room of medical marijuana has been re-created and all of the pot plants and buds have been built with Lego bricks. Hoping to bring attention the recent interventions by federal and local Drug Enforcement agencies that have been disrupting the legal medical marijuana dispensary operations throughout the state of California, a “search and seizure” sale will be conducted between the hours of 8:00p and 11:00p. Provided there is no future federal meddling, the LA-Go closing night show will offer the public a chance to LEGALLY experience the safe, sensory wonderment of being inside a medical marijuana dispensary the opportunity to be “diagnosed” for whatever ailment one might feel necessitates the prescribed use of medical marijuana, and ALSO the opportunity to purchase very affordable art at one of the hippest galleries in the country. Highly trained, medical salespeople will be on hand, ready and willing to help anyone exercise their legal right as a Californian to cultivate and possess medical marijuana in accordance with CA prop. 215. Also, a new crop of clones will be ready for market!

He is now spending an equal amount of time developing his artwork and creating new work for his upcoming shows in London and Paris. This installment of the Crack & Shine film series is the first by Will Robson-Scott, who acts as the photographer on the Crack & Shine books.
